  • Educational Qualifications

    She attained her Ph.D. degree from University of Kalyani and completed her B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. in Physics from University of North Bengal. Her doctoral dissertation involves biophysical research in the in silico domain.
  • Work Experience

    She is in the field of academics for more than 12 years. She started her career as faculty of Physics at Siliguri Institute of Technology in West Bengal. Later, she joined Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bangalore as a faculty member. She also served at Government College, Gurgaon as a visiting faculty of Physics. During her course as a faculty at various institutions, she has contributed to diverse activities that range from setting up of modern Physics laboratory, designing the course structure to serving as editorial board member, coordinator of literary programmes and other co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. She had been nominated as a Question Paper Setter of West Bengal University of Technology. She has also supervised several student projects at the Undergraduate level including the making of Designer Brick from construction site waste that was highlighted by national media like Times of India.She was awarded the First Prize by S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata for designing Telecommunication based model of Pollution detector.
