GD Goenka Centre for Leadership & Social Responsibility (GDG-CLSR)

The GD Goenka Centre for Leadership and Social Responsibility (GDG-CLSR) has been set up to plan and implement initiative by GDGU in the service of the various communities and the society, of which we are an integral part. The different schools of GDGU have always been involved with organising several events and programmes in the service of society (like blood donation camps, collection drive for warm clothes, psychological counselling of prison inmates, skill development training of underprivileged women, etc), but it was felt that to create a long term impact, it is necessary to bring these separate initiatives under a single umbrella and to provide an integrated long term vision for all these activities which aim to positively impact our local communities, the society, and ultimately, the world.

Mission

The GD Goenka Centre for Leadership and Social Responsibility (GDG-CLSR) strives to:

  • Contribute towards positive social change through various focussed activities
  • Inculcate the spirit of leadership and social responsibility
  • Develop meaningful external associations and networks to multiply the relevance, reach, and power of its initiatives

Vision

To be committed to the present and longterm development and enrichment of our communities and the society, by discovering opportunities, aligning capabilities, and inspiring positive social action
