“Managing change from the perspective of Organisational Behavior and Organisational Development” – March 18th, 2015
School of Management had organized a guest lecture on Organisational Behavior and Organisational Development for the students of B.Com – I and BBA – I Year in Block – A at Multi-purpose Hall, SoM, GDGU on March 18th, 2015.
As a Founder and Director of Change processes, Marjan had worked with various organisations like Rijkswaterstaat The Netherlands (Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management), SIDBI, J&J Corporate Citizenship Trust Dubai, Litrogas Lanka Ltd Sri Lanka, IKEA South Asia, Technip KT India, Outokumpu India, etc. Dr. P.K.Goel, Dean, SoM felicitated Drs. Marjan J. Franzen and Kim Marjan for the Guest Lecture. Ms. Esha Jain, Assistant Professor – SoM, introduced the speaker and the topic of the lecture to the students.
The Change Express team covered topics of great interest and value to students. The theme of the guest lecture was “Managing change from the perspective of Organizational Behavior and Organizational Development” . During the lecture the students learned to apply tools in real-life business cases through practical activities and role plays. Through a high level of interaction and a practical way of engaging and working the students felt the experience of multiple elements of managing organizations. During the lecture, they also discussed a business case on “Cross-cultural issues on Change Management” as well as Application of tools in “Dutch municipality” by Daniel Goleman.
The lecture was very knowledgeable and was very interactive and well received by the students.
