Board of Student Activities (BSA) - Dramatics Club organized drama competition on 25 October 2017. Students from G.D. Goenka University participated and showcased impeccable artistry in personifying various roles inspired by day to day life. The stagecraft was judged by Prof. (Dr.) Anjali Krishnan Sharma, Dean SoAP and Prof. (Dr.) Aatma Sahu, Coppin State University, USA.



Many sensitizing social and real life issues were highlighted and touched upon with a view to bring positive change and acceptance in the society. Five teams of extremely proficient dramatists embellished the Broadway on themes such as, Depression amongst students because of various pressures and how things affect their psyche, another one emphasizing the negative \"Swag\" and peer pressure for Smoking, followed by dramatization on the significance of counseling, importance of the social issue of \"Beti Bachao... BetiPadhao... BetiBadhao” and lastly unleashing the \"Dhongi Babas\", a reflection in the name of religious gurus. The winner was \"Beti Bachao...Beti Padhao...Beti Badhao” performed by law students.

The event was a huge success and all the dramatically covered dramatics series of spectacular performances were enjoyed, appreciated and acknowledged with great support.
