Forensics and Criminal Investigation Guest Lecture for Students of School of Engineering

GD Goenka School of Engineering organized a guest lecture on “Forensics in Criminal Investigation using DNA Fingerprinting by Senior Scientist Dr. Anupuma Raina, head of the Forensic DNA laboratory at Jai Prakash Narayan Trauma Centre (JPNATC) and Scientist in Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), on 4th April, 2018.

The lecture was organized for the students of B.Sc. (H) Forensic Science and Law. Dr. Raina briefed the students on the role of Forensics in Crime investigation, especially, elucidating the concept and application of DNA fingerprinting through many high profile criminal cases that she had handled.

Students were thoroughly impressed engaging with live case studies and also made the session highly interactive by asking relevant questions.
