Guest Lecture by Dr Manning, Dean Internationalization, Kent University, UK on Study Abroad for Students

GD Goenka University organized a guest lecture by Dr Manning, Dean Internationalization, Kent University, UK on the 1st of March, 2019. The lecture was planned with the objective of making the students aware of the various opportunities Kent University has to offer.

Dr Manning spoke about a vast array of international opportunities in areas such as Management, Pharmacy, Psychology, Engineering to name a few. He said that the University is aiming at providing a platform infused with robust learning techniques, an open minded and diverse learning experience to international students. He also stressed on the importance of online platforms for learning and said that students could enroll onto various online programs through ‘Thinkkent’ which is the online site of the Kent University.

Dr. Manning also spoke about the availability of the special option of attending summer school at Kent University. This option allows students to study at Kent University during the vacation in the summers. During the summer school students can earn additional credits and get an international exposure as well.

Students attended the session very enthusiastically and asked a number of questions regarding admission process, eligibility criteria, hostel facilities etc. Dr Manning answered all the queries very patiently and enlightened the students with all necessary information.
