Guest Lecture by Prof (Dr.) P B Sharma, Vice Chancellor,Amity University

Dr P B Sharma, a great academician, Vice Chancellor of Amity University, Gurgaon and ex Vice Chancellor of Delhi Technological University had visited SOBAS, G D Goenka University. A guest lecture was held for all the students and faculties on 21^th August 2019 at 11:30am. The lecture was very encouraging which went for approximately one and half hour. A concise report of the lecture of is as follows:

The scientific, motivational and inspiring lecture was delivered by Dr P B Sharma. Students from all year and all courses including all faculties of SOBAS were present. He emphasised on the importance of discipline, regularity and dedication to succeed in one’s life. He also discussed about the present scenario and future scope of Nanotechnology. Along with this he also focussed on environmental hazards, Waste reduction technology, and importance of microbial kingdom in human life.  It was a motivational lecture meant for students to develop more interest into science and scientific inquisition. This lecture was equally beneficial for facilities. Prof (Dr.) Sharma also interacted with students during question-answer session.The lecture was well received by both students and the faculties.
