The student-teachers were also engaged in collecting information and data from the caretakers, workers and others involved in management of the Biodiversity Park through interviews and discussions in order to get a glimpse of the reality and truth regarding environmental issues. The students were engaged in collection of different plant forms as part of their project on environmental education and were doing it with great enthusiasm. All the students even performed Yoga and meditation that helped them to focus, concentrate and rejuvenate themselves. It was a fun filled trip for students and a International Journal of Research and Innovation in Social Science learning experience as well as they highlighted some areas and gave suggestions as to how can they as youth and future teachers can improve the environment and make a small difference by conserving and preserving the existing species for a better tomorrow.
