Workshop on \'Unlock your Career Potential in Dispute Resolution\'

School of Law, GD Goenka University organized a workshop on \'Unlock your career potential in dispute resolution\' on 23rd August, 2018 by Mr. Sameer Shah, Program Director of the India Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London) – CIArb and Ms. Chinmayee Pendse, an independent counsel specialising in international commercial arbitration and litigation. She is a MCIArb (Member of CIArb) and is presently training to be a Fellow of CIArb. They discussed about CIArb, the benefits of ADR, student membership and potential career opportunities in ADR.

CIArb is an international centre of excellence for the practice and profession of alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Its membership of 15,000 is based across 133 countries. India is the first country out of 133 member countries to offer free student membership and G D Goenka School of Law is the first law school in India to offer free membership in collaboration with CIArb- India to students who want to specialise in arbitration. CIArb- India branch has launched student membership drive to promote ADR to the coming generation of legal practitioners.
