Prof. (Dr.) Suku Bhaskaran, Ph.D (Monash University)

Professor Bhaskaran has more than 37 years experience in teaching, research, academic administration and corporate leadership positions. Suku has qualifications from some of the foremost higher education institutions in the world, having earned his PhD from Monash University (Australia), Master of Business – Research from Victoria University (Australia), Graduate Diploma in Social Science from the University of Tasmania (Australia) and Bachelor in Arts – Economics from the University of Malaya (Malaya). Suku held senior full-time and visiting appointments in several institutions worldwide including the Institute of Management Technology Ghaziabad (India); Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (India); Victoria University (Australia); Pennsylvania State University (USA); Melbourne University, Gilbert Chandler College (Australia); and Stamford College – Cyma College of Commerce (Malaysia). He has lead-managed several in-country training, research and consultancy projects in China, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, Australia, USA and India. Suku has authored or co-authored more than 100 scholarly research articles, conference papers, research monographs and book chapters. He was a consultant for the ‘Excellence in Research for Australia’, an initiative by the Government of Australia; has served as Expert Assessor of International Standing (IntReader) for the Australian Research Council, Australia’s peak R&D agency; and served in the Editorial Board of several international scholarly journals including Asia Pacific Journal of Business Administration (Emerald); Journal of Small Business & Entrepreneurship (Taylor & Francis); Journal of Humanitarian Logistics and Supply Chain Management (Emerald); and the Journal of International Food & Agribusiness Marketing (Taylor & Francis). Suku has received several citations and awards for research excellence and contribution to the academic and research profession.
