Students create Radio Countdown Show

The School of Communication lays great stress on imparting practical skills to students. As part of this, the School has hired a professional studio in New Delhi to train BJMC and MJMC students to make radio programmes.

The students are taken every Wednesday to the Studio where they use the Studio’s state-of-the-art facilities to record programmes.

The first programme that the students have created is an exciting Countdown Show. To do so, they were first taught to write the script, and then record it as a live show.

The other programmes that the students will be recording as part of their course include news bulletins, panel discussions, radio documentary and radio drama.

Before being taken to the studio, the students received voice modulation lessons from Mr Sandeep Mahajan, a professional radio trainer who conducts workshops for National School of Drama and Indian Film and Television Institute.
