For the holistic development of final year students and enhance the prospects of their employability, the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, GD Goenka University took an initiative to provide a platform to students to discuss their hopes, interests and requirements for the placement with industry experts. It was also a chance for them to learn about how to face an interview. The Pre Placement Interviews are treated as a simulation of real life placement interview.With this idea,School of Engineering, GD Goenka University, invited vDoIT Technologies to conduct PPIs for Final Year CSE and ECE students on September 9th, 2016 on campus.
vDoIT Technologies Private Limited, incorporated on 10 March 2015 is classified as Non-Govt. company and is registered at Registrar of Companies, New Delhi. It is involved in Software publishing, consultancy and supply. Software publishing includes production, supply and documentation of ready-made (non-customized) software, operating systems, business & other applications software, and computer games for all platforms. Consultancy includes providing the best solution in the form of customized software after analyzing the user’s needs and problems. Custom software also include made-to-order software based on orders from specific users.
The session started with a presentation about the company’s profile and basic information such as selection procedure, company’s milestones, organizational achievements, candidate scope of improvement within the organization if selected, salary and other employment benefits. The talk was delivered by Mr. Narinder Kamra, the CEO of vDoIT. The presentation ended with question and answer session, and many students got their queries about the interview procedure resolved.
Based on outcome of above-mentioned process, students underwent a technical cum formal interview round. In this round students were evaluated for their technical ability, stability and confidence level towards the particular work. The interview focused on overall personality of the candidate and the practical application knowledge a candidate has.
