Rohini Singal Made GDGU Proud at the Inter-college Poetry Competition at Delhi University

Ms. Poulomi Bose, Assistant Professor, English Studies, the School of Humanities and Social Science (SoHSS), GDGU accompanied six students from the SoHSS—Palak, Shikha, Annapurna, Amana, Rohini and Parmeet for an inter-college poetry competition organised by Kalindi College, Delhi University on 19 February 2016. Each participant was given four minutes to recite an original poem, and Rohini Singal, First Year student of Psychology (Honours) secured the third place in the competition.Her poem, “I Am” received a special mention from the judges and was highly appreciated by all. A few lines from Rohini’s poem:

“I am a series of thoughts
One commencing from the tail-end of another
Like a giant ouroboros…”
