He is Ph.D (Industrial Engg. & Management) and M.Tech (Goldmedalist) from Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad. He has done B.E. from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur. His area of Doctoral research was the decision modelling in carbon credit with special reference to the Indian power sector. He is also UGC-NET (Management) qualified. He is having around 19 years of experience in teaching and industry in the area of production and operations management. He has organized various national and international seminars in the past and contributed more than 20 research papers including case studies in national as well as international journals of repute. He has conducted EDP and MDP for leading Indian firms like Orient Fan (a C K Birla Group company), Yamaha Motors, Asian Paints, IRCTC, Central Warehousing Corporation, Container Corporation of India, Air India, etc. He has worked on funded UNAIDS project in Healthcare Supply Chain Management for African countries as well as executed consulting project on operational efficiency and inventory planning for India’s biggest canteen of Indian Army ‘TAURUS’ at Delhi Area HQ. He has also delivered lectures for IGNOU through EDUSAT, telecasted by Doordarshan channel GYANDARSHAN. His current area of research are operations, supply chain and modeling on renewable energy resources. He is a Senior Member of Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, Delhi Chapter. Currently, he is an Associate Professor (Operations & Supply Chain) at School of Management.
