It is always delightful to explore new places but the experience is further enhanced by the company of friends. In its endeavour to relieve students from stress, with this the School of Management, GD Goenka University had organised an excursion to Jaipur during 20-22 March 2015. The 2 night-3 day trip seemed rather short because of the fun and frolic but proved to be extremely rejuvenating as the students returned all charged up.
Jaipur being a destination of rich Indian culture and heritage, enriched students with the knowledge of their country’s glorious history. The students visited Amer Fort, Bhangarh Fort, Hawa Mahal, Jaipur City Palace, Rajmandir theatre and museum, which were indeed magnificent spectacles. Scrumptious food awaited them at Chowki Daani, a place of great exuberance. The luxurious stay at Ramada and warm hospitality of the people of Jaipur added a cherry on top of the experience. The long bus journeys became joyous with co-passengers like antakshari and dumb charades.
All in all, the trip ended on a great note. The students returned with great vigour and enthusiasm and lots of memories worth cherishing.
