Ms. Chhabi Mishra

Ms. Chhabi Mishra is an Architect, Landscape Urbanist and a Master planner with 34 years of experience. She has 20 years of work experience in the U.S. with cutting edge global firms. She moved to India in 2009 and joined as the Principal and CEO of SK Das Associated Architects, a renowned architectural firm. Alongside, she held the positions of Distinguished Visiting Professor at Aayojan School of Architecture, Jaipur, and as a Senior Professor at Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Gurgaon. With her diverse professional and leadership skills in Design, Research and leadership she has a proven track record in leading organisations, projects and sustainable practices. In the U.S. she worked with SmithGroup JJR, Ann Arbor, Michigan, an international leader in Campus Planning and Landscape architecture. She is a specialist in Campus Master Planning of several education and health care campuses. She has also worked on projects in property development, parks and recreation, cities and communities with several other Landscape Architecture firms; Bosse and Turner, J. Robert Anderson, and City of Austin, Planning Department. She is also trained in therapeutic/healing garden design Prior to her U.S experience, she worked for 10 years in India in Mumbai with renowned architect Charles Correa and others. She was selected as the Project Architect for a U.K Aided Healthcare project for Rural Odisha. Her current area of practice and research is in social well-being through Landscape Urbanism, Smart Cities, and Sustainable Social and Environmental Practices.
