Avid photographer and an alumnus of School of Planning and architecture, New Delhi, he is the founding partner of a design and build architectural firm IdeoDB and has been working on various government and private sector projects, focusing on visual communication, commercial and corporate spaces. As a practicing architect, he has been associated with various architectural colleges like Vastukala Academy, Sushant School of Architecture and Academy of Applied Arts.
Manish’s creative spirit led him to travel the world and take inspiration from people he has met, places he has visited and cultures he has experienced.
His modeling assignments helped him understand what the camera really wants and he finally made his foray into photography. With now experience of more than 20years, and over 5 years in teaching the students from different age group.
Architect Ranjeet Mukherjee, an alumnus of The Faculty of Architecture, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, worked in Auroville for nearly 5 years before he founded the Gurgaon-based design studio ‘The Vrindavan Project’ in 2012. He prefers to call it a “project’ rather than studio as he believes his design practice is an evolving process which grows organically and adapts to each task with complete flexibility thus the overall resultant continuum is a “project” itself – “as the studio is not to be static or set in any particular form”. The Vrindavan Project is a design practice that involves exploring of techniques which are ecologically sensitive and contextually appropriate.
Shantanu is an alumnus of College of Art, Delhi (1992) and has since enjoyed a roller coaster ride in the field of advertising, brand development, and communications.
He has worked with some of the leading advertising agencies in India- Lowe, Mudra Communications, RK Swamy BBDO and went on to become a Creative Director at Rediffusion Y&R. His work has picked up both, national and international awards.
Having played mentor to and trained many art directors and visualizers, he wants to impart his skill and knowledge to students seeking to embark on an exciting and rewarding career in design and communication.
