MoU with HUAWEI to train engineering students

GD Goenka School of Engineering has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei on 31st July 2017, a leading global ICT solutions provider, to provide cutting edge ICT industry training to University’s engineering students. Under this agreement, GD Goenka University will function as Huawei Authorized Network Academy. A series of seminars, industrial visits, and Huawei certified ICT graduate training (HCIG and HIT) programs shall be conducted to bridge the Academia-Industry gap which will help to enhance student employability. These training will expose the engineering students to the latest trends and global leading practices on ICT talent development, and the knowledge/skills required for ICT industry entry level followed by the complete broader overview. We are glad to share that out of three B.Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering) students undergoing six months HCIG training at HUAWEI, two have already been placed at Huawei.
