In this issue of News letter we would like to share a spectrum of different activities held during the semester ranging from workshops, educational tour, experimental project visits, International conferences and formal dinner.

The semester was packed with experiential and training activities besides the rigor of academics. The students has an opportunity to visit Aahar, the international Food and hospitality fair, where a wide range of equipment, food products, ingredients, were displayed under one roof.

The new session was characterized by large number of intense and fruitful activities. The celebration of World Tourism Day, World Bread Day and International Chef Day had created a mark in bringing enthusiasm among students with their involvement and participation in organizing various activities related to the elebration.

The semester started in January began with packed event of Wine and Food appreciation, International chef demonstrations, Workshops, Industry Visits, and the participation in various University events followed by hosting of the First International Converence, i Host-2016.

"School of Hospitality, GD Goenka University is in academic Collaboration with Le Cordon Bleu - the world's largest hospitality institution with focus on hospitality management, culinary arts and gastronomy, established in the year 1895. We have visiting chefs from LCB to demonstrate the international cuisine at our campus from time to time."
