An August Beginning to a New Year

Every beginning is welcomed with great zeal and enthusiasm. A great start cements a glorified ending. Here at G D Goenka, we believe in a pompous and vibrant beginning and that is how we celebrated our Fresher’s 2014.

The party was organised by our fellow seniors and our dedicated teachers on 26th Sept 2014. It was a fun filled affair with an aim to pump the minds of the freshers and give a glimpse of the joyous ride they are going to ride on.

The theme of the Fresher’s Day party was 'mismatch' indeed an eccentric flavour for the party. There was a tough run for Mr/Ms Fresher and Mr/Ms Talented, thus giving the party a competitive edge. The competition was hosted by our seniors and judged by different delegates who came from different walks of life. Every participant had to put up their talent in front of the judges and the audience.

They were wildly appreciated and the soar of applause never ended. Everyone was having a ball watching them, they were singing with them, dancing with them, laughing with them.

After the talent show, the cafeteria people had arranged snacks for the party. The delicious food was a cherry on the cake. Finally like everything else the day came to a halt. But the spirit of Fresher’s 14 remains within us. High on hopes and filled with all positive vibes and energy, everyone is ready to climb their ladder of success and make this prestigious University proud of their students.
