G. D. Goenka University signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Arkansas, USA

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between G.D. Goenka University (GDGU), India and University of Arkansas (U of A), USA was signed at GDGU campus on 28th July 2015 paving the way for mutually beneficial cooperation between the two premier universities in a range of areas including short term courses and project work, student and faculty exchange, joint research, curriculum development etc. The MoU was signed by Prof. Raj Singh, Vice-Chancellor of GDGU, and Prof. Ashok Saxena, Provost & Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs of U of A in presence of Prof. Deependra K. Jha, Dean School of Engineering and Dean Academics of GDGU, Dr. Nitesh Bansal, Registrar of GDGU and other Deans. The signing of MOU was preceded by a brief meeting between Prof. Singh and Prof. Saxena to exchange views on the implementation aspects of the MoU.

Founded in 1871, the University of Arkansas offers more than 210 academic programs in several disciplines that include Engineering, Management, Law, Architecture etc.It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and ABET. Student count of 26,000 at U of A represents more than 120 countries. The Carnegie Foundation classifies U of A as having “the highest possible level of research”, placing it among the top 2 percent of colleges and universities in the United States.
