The Centre of Excellence in Occupational Health, Safety, Fire & Environment (C-OHSFE) is a professional centre at GD Goenka University that promotes the study of occupational Health & Safety and risk engineering.

The Centre for Excellence in Occupational Health, Safety, Fire & Environment (C-OHSFE) is created by GD Goenka University to provide quality, practical oriented education in the field of occupational health & Safety, Environment, process safety, risk management & disaster management. C-OHSFE also intends to involve in innovative research related to this domain.

The Centre of Excellence in Occupational Health, Safety, Fire & Environment (C-OHSFE) is aiming to recognise and honoured Safety Professionals for their outstanding contribution and for that purpose this event is being proposed at GD Goenka University campus, Sohna Road, Gurugram on 23rd February, 2025 at 5.30 P.M. onwards followed by dinner.

In this annual event five major sectors identified viz:

• Manufacturing,
• Construction
• Logistics & supply chain
• Training /Consultancy/Education

Awards will be decided based on their work experience and their outstanding contributions.

• HSE Professional of the Year Award (1 Award)
• Young Safety Professional Award for 0-5 Years of Experience (3 Awards in Each Sector)
• Senior Safety Professional Award for 5-10 Years of Experience (3 Awards in Each Sector)
• Leadership Safety Professional Award for more than 10 Years of Experience (3 Awards in each Sector)

Three “Life Time Achievement” award is also proposed.
