Global Exposure & Unique Career Pathways:
- Global Student Exchange Programme
- Pathway to Pilot Programme
Global Student Exchange Programme
All students are required to complete one semester abroad, either through a student exchange or an international internship. These opportunities, facilitated by the Aerospace Engineering Department, allow both B.Tech and M.Tech students to experience global learning environments, collaborate with foreign institutions, and build professional networks that often lead to pre-placement offers.
Pathway to Pilot Programme
For B.Tech Students:
In the fourth year, students can opt to train as Commercial Pilots in collaboration with Redbird Flight Training in Florida, USA. The programme includes 1,000 hours of flight training and dual certifications, Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and Instructor License, making graduates eligible for pilot placements and even a Green Card opportunity to work in the U.S. aviation sector.
For M.Tech Students:
In the second year, students can choose a global training pathway in the USA or Europe, earning the same dual licenses while gaining hands-on international exposure in aviation. This pathway replaces the traditional master’s project, allowing students to graduate with both engineering expertise and pilot qualifications, opening dual career avenues in aerospace technology and aviation operations.
