Program Description

Diploma in Event & Sports Management is a two-year diploma level programme in which students are trained in areas like analyzing, planning, marketing, producing and evaluating an event. The main objective of this programme is to educate students in the application of operational management tools that are needed in the responsibility as a sports or an event manager.

The students will also learn key business skills and develop the expertise to successfully plan, market and execute both small and large-scale events in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. They will also gain a deep understanding of the economic, social and cultural impacts of sport events and sport tourism, as well as the complexities of the sports marketplace. This programme has a one semester mandatory internship
