Program Description

Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacognosy) is a two-year postgraduate program (PG) aimed to develop pharmacy professionals with advanced knowledge of standardization, extraction, isolation and utilization of Phyto-constituents along with preparation and quality control of herbal formulations as per the regulations of the Ministry of AYUSH. This program allows students to conduct independent research in consultation with industry collaborators and academic experts to build a career path for the corporate and education sectors, respectively. Studying at GD Goenka University will give a chance to continue PG research to the Doctoral level (Ph.D.) with a purposeful intent of achieving health outcomes in a timely manner.
