Program Description

M.P.T (Neurology) or Master of Physiotherapy in Neurology is a postgraduate Physiotherapy course. Neurological physiotherapy is the treatment of patients who have neurological disorders. Neurological disorders are those that affects brain, spinal cord, and nerves; such as stroke, MS, and Parkinson's disease. Due to the unique nature of neurological injuries, neurological patients require special care during their rehabilitation. This program provides a unique opportunity for physiotherapists who wish to develop and extend their knowledge base and professional expertise in the field of neurological rehabilitation. The programme is designed precisely and we use a variety of
teaching/learning techniques including lectures, case discussions, practical exercises, lab work, field visits, seminars, journal clubs, collaborative learning, group discussions, assignments, hands-on trainings, internships and dissertation work.
