Cake Mixing 2020

Traditional cake mixing ceremony was conducted on 19th November, 2019. The hall was decorated with Christmas decorations, traditional Christmas melodies was played to create an ambience. The dry fruits and nuts were used to create a figurine of the “flying bird” the logo of the GD Goenka University. Bottles of Liquor, wine, and fruit juices were also displayed. The Pro Vice Chancellor, along with the deans poured the liquor and wine on the displayed fruits and mixed it. The macerated fruits with liquor and wine are collected on steel vessels and will be on hold for 30 days for its maceration and maturing. These macerated fruits will be used in the cake batter for baking. The baked Christmas cakes will be distributed to dignitaries and well-wishers of the G D Goenka Group.
