Professional Biography

With a strong background in syntax and NLP, Richa Srishti is an expert in theoretical linguistics and literature. She also has extensive experience in field work research.

Prior to joining G D Goenka University, she worked as a Senior Research Officer-cum-Reader at the Central Institute of Indian Languages (Mysore) and supervised the corpora development project. She has hand-on-experience in different types of corpora development techniques. She also taught as an Assistant Professor in GLA University, Mathura.

Richa completed PhD ​in linguistics, MA and MPhil at Jawaharlal Nehru University​ and ​ BA English (Hons) from Tilka Manjhi University, Bhagalpur.

Richa is currently working on verb classes of some Indian languages. She is also concentrating on gender and literature, and cinema and psychology.
