Changing dimensions of IP in India: Special Reference to Copyright Law

School of law organized a guest lecture by Dr. Ashwini Siwal , Assistant Professor in IP & IT law, Delhi University on 9th October, 2019. He explained to our students how India as a nation is committed to strengthen the IP ecosystem by bringing timely and needed changes in legislations, policies and rules relating to IP in general and copyright in particular. He navigated the audience to the landmark developments post enactment of National IP policy, 2016 in India. In his lecture he also covered and made references to international practices and standards prevailing across other jurisdictions in relation to the subject matter.
