Introduction: Dr. Afkar Ahmad is an Associate Professor in the School of Law, GD Goenka University, Haryana. He has extensive experience teaching Under Graduate and Postgraduate Courses of Law. He completed LL.M. with a specialization in Criminal Law from Aligarh Muslim University. He was awarded Ph.D. from Chanakya National Law University, Patna for his research on “Trafficking in Women and Children in India: A Socio-Legal study with special reference to the States of Bihar and Jharkhand”.

He has several publications and academic presentations in various National and International seminars and conferences to his credit. His areas of interest are Criminal Law, Family Law, and Constitutional Law.
