Professional Biography

Pankaj Avasthi is an expert in the area of procedural and personal law. He has taught these subjects for nearly five years years at Rajasthan University and G D Goenka University. Pankaj was also a law practitioner who handled cases at different levels of courts.

At Rajasthan University, Pankaj had additional responsibilities such as Head Legal Aid Society and Faculty-in-Charge for Moot Courts. Pankaj also worked as an advocate in the Rajasthan High Court. He has expertise in civil appeals, drafting of trademarks, bails, plaints, and pleading under Arbitration and Conciliation Act, and Consumer Protection Act.

Pankaj is UGC-NET qualified and holds Magister Legum (Master in Law) from the University of Rajasthan.

Current Research

Pankaj’s current research interests are in the application of laws relating to marriage and its dissolution with reference to Non-Resident Indians and challenges in regard to adoption law.
