Professional Biography

Karina Bhatia Kakkar is an expert in the area of International Business. She has keen interest in development of strategies to enhance competitiveness of Indian Higher Education with reference to GATS. She has taught varied courses from the domain of International Business and Strategic Management for nearly 16 years at Universities such as Amity University (Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India) and institutions like DAV Institute of Management (Faridabad, India) on regular academic role, Government College for Women (Faridabad, India) and ICFAI Business School (Faridabad, India) as visiting professor. Prior to taking up the current role in 2013, Karina Bhatia Kakkar served in academic as well as administration position such as Associate Programme Director (Evening Courses) at DAV Institute of Management (Faridabad).

Karina Bhatia Kakkar holds a PhD from Dr. APJ Abul Kalam Technical University, formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University, (Lucknow). Apart from this she holds M.Phil. (Management), from Madurai  Kamaraj University (Madurai); MBA (International Business) from  Maharshi Dayanand University (Rohtak); MCA from Guru Jambeshwar University, (Hisar)  and B.Sc. from the University of Delhi (Delhi). Besides that she has a certificate of NET equivalency issued from Dr. APJ Abul Kalam Technical University (Lucknow).

Current Research

Karina Bhatia Kakkar has done research in the varied field of management in the last 16 years. She has contributed research in higher education sector, international business, human resource management, entrepreneurship practices. She has developed case studies in the area of telecom sector. She has worked extensively in the area of education sector and GATS as a part of the doctoral research.
