Prior to taking up the present role in 2018, Abhikarsha spent his entire professional tenure spanning over nearly two decades, in various industries. His expertise is in supply chain management. He hasworked in industry sectors such as fast moving consumer goods, consumer durables, minimally invasive medical devices, office automation and retail business.
As part of his professional journey, Abhikarsha took up various leadership roles at national levels at leading multi-national organizations in India such as PepsiCo India, Electrolux India, Jenson & Nicholson, Samsung Electronics, Boston Scientific Corporation, Xerox India and Future Group. With Supply Chain Management as the functional domain, his areas of expertise comprise designing different supply chain strategies including setting-up of forecasting processes, warehousing & distribution strategies, inventory optimization, transportation network and supply chain capacity optimization, 3PL management and ERP (SAP) implementation in the domain of supply chain and logistics.
Abhikarsha graduated in economics from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Thereafter, Abhikarsha pursued the Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Kolkata. Later, he completed the M.Sc. in Supply Chain Management from G.D. Goenka University, Gurugram. He is a certified Six-Sigma (Black Belt) from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), New Delhi. He also completed his certification in SCM Planning: ‘APO Core Data Interface, Demand Planning & Supply Network Planning’ from SAP, New Delhi. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Management from G. D. Goenka University, Gurugram.

2017: DITO India’s Water-ATM Programme at Belilious Road, Howrah, WB, India: a value-chain mapping - an action research done while consulting DITO, India’s (India Chapter of DITO, Netherlands, an NGO working in Europe and part of Asia) water-ATM commissioning project for the slum-dwellers of Howrah district of West Bengal. A comprehensive report was submitted to DITO, India and DITO, Netherlands.
Contribution to Profession and Awards (from 2015)
Abhikarsha received several recognitions from industries for his contributions to supply chain planning and management, including the Best Employee Award in Samsung India in the year 2002. Some of his achievements and contributions are as follows:

- Formalizing SOP’s & Work Instructions in line with High Performance Operations Management
- SCM projects principally applying Six Sigma road-map
- One-Party-One-Bill Project – standardization of 3PL services across India
