An Industrial Visit to one of the largest biscuit manufacturer of Asia, Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd., Bahadurgarh (Haryana) was organised by School of Management, GDGU for the students of BCOM-1st and 3rd Semester. The students were taken on visit on 22nd April, 2016 (Friday).

Before the departure from the university, students were briefed 12-15 standard questions by the faculty-in-charge about Parle Biscuits factory. After arrival at the plant, animated movie on history and establishment of Parle factories were shown to the students in the auditorium followed by the students visit at the entire manufacturing plant. Then the students had a discussion with Ms. Pallavi (HR Officer, Parle Biscuits Pvt. Ltd.) about the manufacturing process, recruitment activities and general management aspects of Parle industries and learnt about the manufacturing process of biscuits, wafers, candies and other Parle products, quality maintenance process, various marketing strategies, and supply chain and logistics management of the company.
