Dr. Nidhi GuptaAssistant Professor
Nidhi Gupta is an expert in the area of Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a background in the natural product chemistry. For nearly three years, she taught subjects in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at various well-known colleges and universities such Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Yamunanagar.
Prior to taking up the current role in 2018, Nidhi Gupta served as Senior Research Fellow (Medicinal Chemistry) at CSIR-IIIM, and Research Scholar (Pharmaceutical Analysis) at CSIR-IHBT, Palampur.
Nidhi Gupta holds a Ph.D. from the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar; MS (Pharm) from the NIPER, Kolkata; B.Pharmacy from Kurukshetra University.

Nidhi Gupta’s current research interests are focused on the anticancer drug development through isolation, characterization and structural modification of bioactive natural products from plants as well as microbial sources. Isolation and purification of natural products done by using various chromatographic techniques (column, TLC and HPLC) and structural elucidation by spectroscopic techniques (1D &2D NMR, HRMS, UV and IR) are also her area of research interest.
