Professional Biography

Sahil Kumar is an expert in the area of Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a background of pharmaceutical organic chemistry, pharmaceutical inorganic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis and computer aided drug design.  He has taught these subjects for nearly nine years at universities such as Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technology, IEC University, Manav Bharti University, ISF College of Pharmacy, and ​G D Goenka University.

Prior to ​taking up the current role in 2018, Sahil Kumar served in research position as a Senior Research Fellow in Defence Research & Development Organization, New Delhi based project at ISF College of Pharmacy and as an Assistant Professor at Baddi University of Emerging Sciences & Technology, IEC University, Manav Bharti University.

Sahil Kumar holds a PhD ​from the​ IK Gujral Punjab Technical University; MPharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology; and BPharm from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology.

Current Research

Sahil's current research interests are focused on design, synthesis and biological evaluation of medicinal compounds and polymeric prodrugs for the treatment of malaria, cancer and diabetes etc.
