In school days I viewed college life as fat books, happening friends and obviously bunking. But perceptions change.
One of our initial assignments included taking pictures of ‘lines and dots’. The ‘Lines and dots’ assignment mainly meant how we see simplest and the most complex things as a mere line or a dot. We were restrained within the premises of our campus and the task looked impossible in the beginning. But as we got to work, we realized we could go on and on. From as tiny as spots on a lady bug to as massive as sun and stars, we captured it all. There were many more interesting pictures like the jet of water coming from a fountain was viewed as a line and the water droplets towards the end made dots
The assignment took us to every nook and corner of our campus and till now just a college campus turned into a personal space.
The assignment was a great opportunity to widen our horizon and look at things in a completely new perspective. It also helped us in our photographic skills which is an integral part of our curriculum.
It was a great start of our college life and we all look forward to many more such assignments.
