A trip was organised for the students of second year on 10th September 2015 to Etreluxe, a lifestyle brand that make available high end interior products for Kitchens (Nolte, Miele, Siemens, and many more), Bath (Agape, Treemme, Olympia Ceramica, Mestre, Hoesch, Stern Hagen and many more), Living (Asnaghi Furniture, Flos Lights, Porro furniture, Alivar, Villari and many more), Surfaces (Marca Corona, Fiandre and many more).Students were accompanied by two of their design faculties, Ms Guneet Raj Singh and Ms Parul Singh.
This workshop was organised to expose the students to the latest market trends and an insight into the vision of the architects today. The students were given a presentation on the materials and technologies available in the market and given a tour of the showroom to understand the deign implementation of the products.
After the showroom tour a panel discussion was held between Architect Amritha Ballal, Space Matters and team Ultra Confidentiel Architects, to introduce the students to the changing trends in Architecture. The panel discussion ended with a question answer round, with the enthusiastic questions from the students culminating into a stimulating discourse between the architects and the students.
