In order to sensitize the students to the domain of creative thinking and motivate them to read, learn and practice the same, NCAT 2016, an initiative of International Forum for Excellence in Higher Education (IFEHE) was conducted at GD Goenka University in association with IFEHE on 1st March, 2016. GD Goenka University was one of the 165 Colleges/Universities across India who conducted this test. Round 1 test was given by 31 enthusiastic participants who are pursuing undergraduate Programmes in engineering.
In NCAT 2016, there is separate test for students in different years of their degree courses in which studentâ€™s creative thinking and logical reasoning abilities are tested. The NCAT will assess the creativity quotient of a student and his/her level of achievement motivation. By participating in this Test, the student shall get sensitized to the importance of these factors and their role in shaping oneâ€™s future. Once so oriented, the student shall seek out resources to develop creative thinking and enhance achievement motivation. The primary objectives of this test are â€“ one, to sensitize the student and two, to appeal to his /her competitive spirit to make him/her an achiever.
