Mohd. Aamir Nayyar, Assistant Director (Foundation) is a trained Designer from the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Gandhinagar, Specialization in Jewelry Design, and holds a Master's in Fashion & Textiles from Pearl Academy validated by Nottingham Trent University, UK. He has worked in the organized and Crafts sector promoting design development indigenous methods and understanding. His experience and knowledge stem from his extensive work with different materials and manufacturing methods. For over 18 years, he has worked professionally in the diverse areas of jewelry & accessory design, graphic & communication, product, and furniture design.
He has been associated with design education since 2007 and has worked with different Design Institutions including NIFT, IICD, Pearl Academy, and Aayojan School of Architecture, Jaipur. He contributed to the development of the curriculum at the Maharaja Ranjitsingh Gaekwad Institute of Design (MRID) Baroda, Gujarat, and has co-authored course material for the 1-Year Certificate Course in Jewelry Design, SoVET, IGNOU, Delhi. Currently, he is associated with Unitedworld Institute of Design, NCR Campus, and the Program Leader Foundation Department.
