Introduction: Vivek Karmokar, Associate Director (Foundation) is a visual artist and designer having professional experience of 30 years.

Vivek Karmokar, Associate Director (Foundation) is a visual artist and designer having professional experience of 30 years. He is a Sahitya Kala Award Winner in Sculptural Art. He is a fellow of the Sydney Grammar Foundation in Art and Design, Australia. A former Pan – India Dean of the Foundation Design Program at Pearl Academy and continues to engage with national and international academic institutions as an academic advisor for projects related to art and design curriculum, academic counseling, conducting lectures, training programs, expositions, and workshops.

He chairs the Institutional Innovation Committee at Karnavati University. He has traveled, lived, and exhibited his artworks in several countries to create an opportunity to explore, understand and communicate through art, design, and culture.

His diverse range of work includes sculptures, product design, drawings, installations, paintings, murals and set design using a variety of mediums and materials, both man-made and natural resources. He has done several Public Art Projects and Commissions for the Corporate and Government Sector in India and abroad. “Pari Chowk Sculpture” at the Express Highway, in Greater Noida, U.P., Delhi NCR, is a monumental public art created by him in 2001. His industry projects & collections are in Private, Government & Public sector in India, Australia, Botswana, Bahrain, France, Korea, UK, USA and Zambia . His academic projects are in collection of institutions, universities and schools in India, Australia and Southern Africa.
