Presentation on “Performance Measurement and application of Performance Maturity Model for Business Excellence” Presented by Dilip Kumar Gayen  Departmental Seminar of the Series  2022 Friday, 25th March

The session was organized by the DSS organizing team under the guidance of Dr. Nusrat Khan. More than 24 participants attended the session and gave positive feedback on its punctuality, efficient organization and fresh insights. Dilip Gayen is a scholar with School of Management. He has done MBA with specialization in Finance and also completed Certifications in ZED Master Trainer, Lead Auditor QMS, Lean Six-sigma Master Black Belt; TPM, TQM, Lean I 4.0, People centric Digitization, SME Innovation etc. from Asian Productivity Organization, Japan.

Dilip Gayen talked about the importance of Performance Improvement Maturity Model in ensuring Organizational excellence and Process Excellence for efficient execution of Operations. He talked about importance of ERP citing Eisenhower that Plans are nothing but planning is everything and enthralled participants with his knowledge about Hoshin Kanri Concept, PESTLE Analysis, Ansoff Matrix, Porter’s Generic Strategies for Strategic Management, CMMI for Capacity Building and Improvement Management. He further stressed upon the role of techniques like CMMI, Lean Six Sigma, I4.0, 5.0, for FoF/S (Future of Factory/Service) and FoB (Future of Business) in improving Productivity, Quality, Internal Efficiency Cost and market and customer-centric digitalization. Post presentation, an interactive Q&A session followed wherein Dilip answered all queries of participants.
