It fills me with immense pride and joy to reflect upon the remarkable journey of GD Goenka University (GDGU) as a leading educational institution that transcends boundaries. Our commitment to academic excellence has positioned GDGU as one of the foremost players in the private education sector in Delhi-NCR. The diversity of students on campus stands a further proof to the fact that the institution has indeed acted as a catalyst for transforming lives worldwide. The wide array of courses covered right from pre-nursery to PhD truly reflects the motto of the group, "From Foundation to Flight".

The foray of the GD Goenka Group into Education started in 1994 with the setting up of its first school – GD Goenka Public School, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. Today we have a presence in 18 states of India, successfully running 130+ senior secondary, toddler, and early childhood centres, providing education to a 1,30,000+ youth population.

GD Goenka Education City, spread across a lush green 60 acre campus, at the foothills of the Aravalli range is a one of its kind educational institution in North India that provides education from Pre-School to PhD in one single campus with the presence of a CBSE affiliated High School, an IB, IGCSE affiliated World School and a UGC approved University.

GD Goenka University recognizes the transformative changes happening nationally and globally and understands the significance of aligning with key policy directions such as the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Science Technology and Innovation Policy (STIP) 2020, and the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The recognition and acclaim they have brought to the university stands as a testament to their accomplishments. Being a part of this trailblazing institution that has revolutionized the educational landscape in the NCR region of India is both an honour and a source of immense satisfaction.

Dr. Kim Menezes

Vice Chancellor

Dr. Kim Menezes brings an extensive wealth of experience spanning two decades, seamlessly blending industry and academia. Her dynamic background features a decade in market research at AC Nielsen, coupled with a decade-long professorial tenure in the United States and India. This unique fusion of experiences positions her as a valuable contributor, infusing a fresh and insightful perspective into her current role.

In her prior roles as Dean at the School of Management, GD Goenka University, and at the G.D. Goenka World Institute | Lancaster University, Dr. Kim Menezes played a pivotal role in cultivating noteworthy international collaborations. Her proactive efforts resulted in successful partnerships with esteemed global institutions such as the University of Cincinnati and Kent Business School. These collaborations significantly elevated student programs and academic initiatives, establishing her as a recognized expert in global academic collaborations.

Dr. Kim Menezes is lauded for her adept problem-solving skills and proficiency in project management, particularly in conceiving and implementing academic programs. Her innovative approach consistently yields successful outcomes, earning her acclaim as a distinguished educator and consultant. Additionally, she possesses an exceptional ability to simplify intricate statistical concepts, making them accessible to diverse audiences.

Armed with a Ph.D. in Applied Statistics from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Menezes combines a robust academic foundation with a pragmatic approach to educational leadership. As Vice Chancellor, her unwavering commitment is directed towards fostering academic excellence and propelling innovation in the international educational landscape. Her dedication to these objectives solidifies her as a valuable asset to our university and the broader educational community.

Prof Anuradha R Tiwary

Registrar, GD Goenka University

Prof. Anuradha R. Tiwary has over two decades of experience as an academician, researcher and administrator. She holds a PhD in Economics & a Master's degree in Commerce from Jiwaji University and MBA in Advertising and Public Relations from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) Indore. Prior to joining G D Goenka University, she had earlier worked in organizations including GD Goenka World Institute-Lancaster University (India), Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), JET Education Services and UNDP Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (IICPSD- India).

She has held various positions including Deputy Dean-Academics, Assistant Dean of Academic Planning, Chairperson Economics, Professor in the School of Humanities, Social Science & Economics, monitoring quality assurance and Proctor responsibilities of hostels managing 1000s of students, besides other academic and administrative responsibilities. During the course of her professional activities, she has been involved in facilitating academic programs delivery in collaboration with international university partners in line with NEP 2020, even before the introduction of NEP 2020 in India, over the last decade under the ages of GD Goenka World Institute-Lancaster University. Further with the implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 she has been leading the initiative as Deputy Dean Academics in ensuring that G D Goenka University is the first university in the country, to fully implement the National Education Policy NEP 2020 in totality. During the course of her professional career, she has established herself as both an excellent team worker and also as a leader who can communicate effectively and take people along for facilitating institutional initiatives.

Over the course of her teaching career spanning nearly a quarter of a century, she has taught courses in the disciplines of management and economics. She has supervised numerous doctoral candidates from both the areas as also multidisciplinary domains. She has anchored many undergraduate and postgraduate programs. As a researcher she has published several peer reviewed journal articles, book chapters and a book. Her research areas of interest include concerns of gender equality and facilitation, innovation and entrepreneurship, capacity building, and business culture. She has also undertaken several funded projects on gender, development and child rights. This also includes especially working with NGOs and with the local community for their welfare.
