The GD Goenka Scholarship Programme aims to award scholarships to exceptional, highly motivated and deserving students in the areas of Academics, Sports or The Arts. Such students must show great potential to further excel in their chosen disciplines thereby bringing laurels to their alma mater.

Scholarship Benefits

GD Goenka University strives to build and nurture a community of thinking, compassionate world citizens, who are committed to living with responsibility, learning with enthusiasm and balancing a strong work ethic with a sense of play. The students on their satisfactory performance in GD Goenka University Aspire Scholarship Test depending on their merit in qualifying exam, shall be eligible for the grant of the following merit scholarships:

Wards of serving and retired personnel from the Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) and Paramilitary forces (CISF, BSF, CRPF, ITBP, NSG, and SSB) 10%
Fee relaxation for North-East states and Sikkim candidates 10%
Sibling benefit to the candidates having brother or sister from same parents studying in university 10%

Note:

  • All scholarships awarded will be applicable for specific year(s) only. Continuation of the scholarship is subject to the student’s performance in the qualifying year and the scholarship policy applicable from time to time.
  • A student can avail only one category of scholarship, whichever is higher.
  • The aggregate percentage will be calculated based on marks obtained in subjects as per eligibility criteria, excluding Physical Education, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, and any Vocational/Non-Written subjects. These subjects will be considered only for respective/select disciplines.
  • G.D. Goenka University reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the scholarship awarded if the candidate is found ineligible at any stage.
  • The candidate should not have improved his/her marks in any subject by appearing for improvement/supplementary examinations in the same or succeeding year of passing Class XII.
  • Limited scholarship seats are available and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Programmes offered under the School of Hospitality and Tourism is outside the purview of the scholarship policy.
  • All certificate, diplomas, MA Clinical Psychology, and one-year programmes offered at undergraduate and postgraduate levels do not fall under the scholarship scheme.
  • Only a copy of the original transcript/mark sheet issued by the respective school education board will be considered as valid proof for scholarship. Results downloaded from online portals will not be considered valid proof.
  • Students are required to upload and submit the scholarship form along with supporting documents on the Student Portal on or before 31st October 2026 to avail scholarships. Login credentials will be provided upon successful completion of the enrollment process.
  • The scholarship policy is governed by the Scholarship Committee, and the decision to grant or deny a scholarship shall be final and binding on the student.
  • No scholarship requests will be entertained after 31st October 2026.
  • The sports scholarship is applicable for both individual and team performance.
