B.Tech. Civil Engineering with specialization in Smart Infrastructures is an undergraduate program designed to provide students with a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and practices, with a particular emphasis on the emerging field of smart infrastructures.
This program prepares students to design and manage complex infrastructural systems that leverage technology and data to improve efficiency, sustainability, and user experience. The program covers core civil engineering subjects such as mechanics, materials science, surveying, structural analysis, and geotechnical engineering, along with specialized courses in smart infrastructure, data analysis, and computer-aided design. Students also gain hands- on experience with the latest software tools and technologies used in the industry.
The curriculum includes courses such as smart city technologies, internet of things (IoT), machine learning, data analysis, and geospatial technologies.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSO)
PSO 01
To design and develop electronics components and systems for applications related to computation, logical modelling, wireless communication, process controls, smart manufacturing, Transportation, Energy and health care.
PSO 02
To learn electronics and communication-related issues in the fields of communication, biomedical devices, the Internet of Things (IoT) and VLSI design and Technology.
PSO 03
Graduates would expertise in successful careers based on their understanding of formal and practical methods.
Programme Outcomes (PO)
Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory course and any one course from Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship. Obtained at least 50% marks in the above 2 compulsory and any one selected (from list of 12) subjects taken together. OR Passed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 50% marks
