Message from Dean

Welcome to the Department of Engineering & Sciences at GD Goenka University.

I'm glad you're here, and I hope this page gives you a real sense of who we are and what we offer. Engineering and science today move fast, and we've built our programs to keep up. Our B.Tech students work in areas like AI & ML, Cyber Security, Quantum Computing, Electric Vehicles, and Smart Infrastructure — not as buzzwords, but as real specializations backed by dedicated coursework and labs. At the postgraduate level, we offer focused M.Tech programs in Aerospace, Renewable Systems, and Nuclear Engineering, along with a strong M.Sc. track in Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Forensic Science.

We've also partnered with industry leaders like Microsoft, NVIDIA, and CompTIA to bring globally recognized certifications directly into our BCA and MCA programs, so students graduate with skills employers actually look for — in AI, Data Science, Generative AI, and Blockchain. For students drawn to the skies, our B.Sc. (Hons.) in Aviation comes with a Commercial Pilot License track, something few universities offer at this level.

None of this works without the right teaching. Our faculty bring a mix of academic depth and industry experience, and they push students to think for themselves, ask hard questions, and get their hands dirty with real projects — not just exams.

We also run full-time and part-time Ph.D. programs for those who want to go deeper into research and contribute new knowledge to their fields.

Beyond degrees, we care about the kind of engineers and scientists our students become — curious, capable, and grounded.
