GD Goenka Orientation

GD Goenka University has a well-organized Orientation program where students are introduced to their respective Schools, faculty members, coordinators, and the teaching and learning methodology being followed at the respective school level. The students are also introduced to the course plan, timetable, and credit requirements of each course by the concerned faculty of each department.

The orientation also includes an interactive session organized exclusively for parents, during which they interact with the leadership team of GD Goenka University.

Transcend Farewell

Transcend is the farewell party that is organized for all pass outs every year. As the name suggests, transcend is a final fun event at the university for all graduates as they embark on their future endeavors.

The circle of campus life comes full this day as juniors now give farewell to the seniors who had once welcomed them on campus.

Annual Fest

The Annual Fest of GD Goenka University is a yearly mega event with three components—the Techno-cultural aspect covered in Acceleron, Sporting events covered in Sportopia,and Innovation and Entrepreneurship component titled Idea. The event concludes every year with a DJ Night and a Celebrity Performance.

Foundation Day

The University celebrates the 1st of July as its foundation day. It was on this day, back in 2013, that under the trail-blazing leadership of Hon’ble Chairman, Shri A. K. Goenka, the GD Goenka Group forayed into education and launched a university par excellence, imbibing the best teaching practices of the world, creating a new vista of learning that catered not only to India but to the world. The day also sees distinguished faculty and staff being felicitated and recognized through the Star Performer Awards.

The Ideathon conference convened by the Centre of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) sees the culmination of the humongous work done under the auspices of the Inter- Disciplinary Project (IDP) course offered pan university to the second-year students.

The conference is an evaluation and acknowledgment of the work in research/business start-ups that the participating students engage in all year round.
