The B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture course deals with Importance and scope of Agriculture,
a four year Agriculture degree programme which produces graduates with broad understating of Agriculture and allied science with broad understanding of agriculture related problems and got expertise through well planned on-field implementation, basic concepts in disease, insect pest, weeds and nutrient disorders to enhance the production.

PSO 01
Apply the knowledge of crop production, crop protection and crop improvement for promoting climate resilient sustainable agriculture and rural development.
PSO 02
Analyze and evaluate complex agricultural problems and formulate novel and viable alternative solutions using principles of agricultural sciences.
PSO 03
Develop innovative processes, products and technologies to solve the challenges in agriculture for improving the farm based sustainable livelihood.
Programme Outcomes (PO)
Students graduating with B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Degree will be able to
Apply knowledge on different domains of agriculture and allied sciences to provide sustainable solutions to the complex agricultural problems
Understand and analyze the events and issues affecting agricultural development and bridge the gap between past, present and futuristic agriculture, contributing to climate resilient strategies and sustainable resource management.
Design protocols, prototypes, product, etc. and propose economically viable solutions and sustainable plans for agricultural growth and development.
Conduct investigations of complex agricultural problems using research-based knowledge including design of experiment, statistical tools, analysis and interpretation of data to provide valid conclusions.
Select and apply techniques of crop modelling, bio-indicators, remote sensing, GIS, IT tools and modern cutting edge technologies in agriculture and allied sciences.
Analyze and evaluate the societal and environmental aspects while solving complex agricultural problems for its impact on sustainability with reference to economy, health, safety, legal framework, culture and environment.
Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics, human values, diversity and inclusion; adhere to national and international laws.
Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse or multi-disciplinary teams.
Communicate effectively and inclusively witthin the agricultural community and society at large, such as being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentation considering cultural, language and learning differences.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of agri-business management principles and models in one’s own work, as a member and leader to manage multi-disciplinary projects.
Acquire different entrepreneurial and professional skills to create own enterprise or become an asset for any agro-based organization.
Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability for independent and life-long learning; adaptability to new and emerging technologies and critical thinking in the broadest context of technological advancement.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture Admission Requirement
For taking admission to our Bsc Agriculture course, you must pass your 10+2 from CBSE or equivalent examination in Agriculture or Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical vocational subject in addition the candidate will also have to appear in GATA (Goenka Aptitude Test for Admission) and Personal Interview
