Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) club successfully conducted a face-to-face session on the topic ‘Become an Artist of Public Speaking’ on 24 th August, 2022 at School of Engineering and Sciences, GD Goenka University. The club activities are conducted periodically by the students and for the students. The session was delivered bySahil Garg and Manas Nand Mohan, the students of B.Tech (CSE- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning), V Semester, School of Engineering and Sciences, GD Goenka University. Sahil Gargcommenced the session by discussing the impact of words on the listener’s mind.Sahil explained about the significance of public speaking and detailed about the facts, fears and myths that may be faced by the speakers and the ways to overcome them. Manas Nand Mohan narrated about the points to ponder before addressing the mass. He also gave insights on the importance of taking pauses while communicating with the audience, the methods to make an interesting opening, the act of connecting with the audience throughout the session and on the ways to have a strong closing. The session concluded with interesting videos and details of references for the audiences to explore more on the topic.
