                                          A SESSION FOR FUTURE LEARNINGS!

For enabling our E-Orientation week, the School of Medical and Allied Sciences, G D Goenka University organized a Live Webinar on September 23,2020, which discussed the genius behind the topic “Healthcare Professionals and the supply chain for Biologicals”. The expert Speaker for the Lecture was Dr. Sachin Dubey, Head/Deputy Director of Formulation, Analytical and Drug Product Development(Biologics), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, S.A. Chemin de la Combeta La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The session was diligently planned for our new students to get an all-rounded glimpse and insight about the Healthcare domain, that they have chosen for their new marked beginnings! Mr. Dubey shared his own professional journey in the Healthcare domain, from his lows to highs, which surely pumped motivation and inspired blood in the students. Further into the session, Mr. Dubey discussed the role of Biologics and how its supply chain and clinical administration is an elusive task and approach. The session also rendered articulate knowledge about the Cell therapy and the challenges encountered in its manufacturing. Mr. Dubey’s argument on how the supply chain requires dedicated Infrastructure for its storage and shipment hit the right rational cords with the audience towards the end of the session.
